Tiger freshman phenom broke out in a big way by earning MVP honors at the Hub City Tip-Off Classic where she averaged 15 points a game and knocked down 10 treys, then followed that with a 26-point outburst and 4 3-pointers against Lubbock-Cooper in a 64-57 victory that kept her team unbeaten.

Immediately made a big splash on the court with 35 points 12 rebounds and 6 assists and helped the Tigers create some breathing room against Lubbock-Cooper with 8 points in the second quarter.

Hudson Hutcheson: Was the catalyst one more time for the Tigers offense by throwing for 260 yards and a pair of touchdowns against Southlake Carroll.
Landon Hutcheson: Was a consistenttarget when the Tigers had the ball with12 catches for 104 yards a TD.
Leyton Stone: With Southlake Carroll honed in to try to lock him down, he managed to grab 3 passes for 103 yards, punctuated by a 34-yard TD.
Girls basketball
Abbi Holder: Major sparkplug for the Tigers at the Hub City Tip-Off Classic with 39 points in four games and followed that with an 11-point, 7-rebound, 6-assist performance in a gritty win against Lubbock Cooper. She knocked down 21-of-26 free throws in five games.
Boys basketball
Armani Gacanica: His knack for making plays when the Tigers needed them yielded 11 points in each game, with 5 rebounds in one and a pair of 3-pointers in another.
Golf
Jathan Reed: Notched an even-par 72 on a frigid day in San Angelo last Friday to claim top medalist honors at the District 2-6A Preview.
