MIDLAND -- Frenship had to switch gears after a high-octane District 2-6A opener, but the change of pace did little to slow the Tigers down.

Kaylee Rendon scored 9 of her team-high 13 points in the second half to pace Frenship. Maci Maddox helped the Tigers start quickly with 10 points in the first frame, with Zaria Fowler adding 6 of her 10 points in the opening period.
