Lubbock swimmers and divers came up big at the 2019 UIL state swimming & diving meet last weekend in Austin.
The Lubbock High girls send 10 athletes on the road to Austin this weekend for the 2018 Class 5A state meet, which gets started Friday afternoon at the Class 5A state meet begins Friday afternoon with preliminaries at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
Lubbock High’s Kolos Nagy is headed to his fourth consecutive state meet and is looking to not just medal but earn some gold in the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley.
